All Approved Cockapoo Breeders listed on this page have been CCGB Inspected, adhere to the minimum Health Testing requirements and have signed up to abide by the CCGB Code of Ethics.
When searching for a puppy we still recommend that you visit a selection of breeders over time and choose the one that you feel instinctively most comfortable with.

What does it mean to have been Inspected?
The CCGB has a dedicated team of individuals nationwide and each of the Inspectors have undertaken further in-house training seminars on such subjects as verifying the Health Test paperwork/Pedigrees, lone visit personal safety, animal welfare, breeder networking, CCGB support, breeder mentoring and Code of Ethics. We have worked together to produce a CCGB Inspection Manual and a very comprehensive 17 page checklist to use in the field and then as a formal report to pass back to the committee for discussion and evaluation. For those breeder applicants that fall short of the minimum requirements the CCGB will offer them support and a plan of action to assist them to improve their practices. Inspections can be ongoing and are at the discretion of the Inspector covering that geographical area. The Checklist includes sections under the headings: - Records and Paperwork - Mandatory prcd-PRA testing - Additional Health testing - Living and Whelping Conditions of the Breeding Bitches - Stud Dogs - Mating of Bitches - Pre, during and post Whelping - Breeder Mentoring - Puppy Health and Care - Physical and emotional needs of all dogs on site - EMRA - Daily Acivities - Acceptance and sign CCGB Code of Ethics The detailed Manual and checklist have been created by the current founder members team and committee, to establish a quantifiable Inspection Standard. In addition the CCGB are offering Breeder Networking and support to assist Breeder Members not only to raise their puppies in the best way but also to be able to support their customers, the new forever owners to be able to give the pups the best care, nutrition and training in the formative first months of their life. |
