Aeolus Blaster Dryer
http://www.ultrakennels.co.uk
I have really been appreciating my Aeolus Blaster/Dryer recently. The model I have is stainless steel. There is a heat on/off button and the speed of the blaster is variable. I have not yet had it at full blast and it's quite a powerful beast! At a one day grooming course I attended two of the dogs went for a dry blast to remove debris before brushing out and bathing. It worked a treat. Bearing this in mind I decided to just blast my dogs when I got home from a very wet and muddy CCGB group walk in March. I spent about ten minutes on each dog by which time they were dry and looked like they had had a bath! All of the dirt was blasted off on to the floor and then I just hoovered. What I particularly like about this model is that it is small enough to take with you if you go away. Some dryers are huge. Mine came with a stand too, but I haven't used it yet. This is one machine that was money well spent. Karen
Tropiclean D-Mat Tangle Remover
http://www.rlpetproducts.co.uk
I first used this product on recommendation and now find it an absolute godsend on my tight curly coated cockapoo. As the name suggests, it helps to remove mats and tangles, gently and effectively, making grooming quicker and easier. It is a pleasantly scented spray-on liquid which can be sprayed directly onto the dog’s coat after bathing and does not need rinsing off (Tropiclean’s shampoo and conditioner range are also recommended). D-Mat Tangle Remover can also be used on a dry coat. It penetrates tangles causing them to “release” and, as it is left in the coat, it will also help prevent tangles forming. Regular combing/brushing is still required as part of routine grooming but with the invaluable Tangle Remover to hand I find this a much easier job! Sue
